At W+R we are strengthened by collaboration.

We believe great engineers are made from great people, and that every engineer has both something to learn and something to teach. Growing through collective learning is the backbone of our mentorship philosophy. On a day-to-day basis this philosophy is realized with open communication throughout the office. We find that valuing and encouraging this continuous collaboration leads to a stronger team as a whole.

Over years of experience we have developed a broad collection of tools, methodologies, and proven solutions. This, combined with our cooperative environment, fosters success for both entry-level and experienced engineers. New employees are paired with a mentor who is accessible for advice from engineering to career development.

Our camaraderie doesn’t end when the workday does.

We enjoy spending time together outside of the office with both planned company events and spontaneous activities throughout the year. An impromptu happy hour or game night is a fun way to spice up the middle of the week. We also look forward to birthday ice cream cakes, our annual summer picnic, and getting out of the office for an afternoon of bowling or a day at the Del Mar Racetrack. Whether we’re on the course for a golf fundraiser or testing our wits at trivia night, we’re happy to be working as part of a great team.

Making giving back a way of life.

We encourage community involvement and giving through setting a good example. Wiseman+Rohy supports many local organizations and provides employees the opportunity to participate in these programs.

While supporting various local entities each year, we continually support the following:

Our office is centrally located, with convenient access to both downtown San Diego and North County. And, with our flexible 4.5-day work week, we make sure there’s extra time each weekend to enjoy everything America’s Finest City has to offer.
